This flat sheet exceeded my expectations! I have found it challenging to find quality flat sheets, sold separately, in my city. I read about Hommey in a magazine and liked the colours on offer. I have already recommended Hommey to family because the quality is so great! Thank-you!

I was a bit underwhelmed with these sheets, for background I tend to buy bamboo sheets/bedding—if this is you keep reading! I was really drawn to the colors/patterns that Hommey offered so I decided to give them a try.

Let’s start with the good, I love that the duvet/pillowcases have a zipper close! Your pillows always look crisp, and there’s no extra fabric moving around while you sleep. The color is also gorgeous, I purchased the inkberry with the striped pillowcases and they are delicious together.

Now the not so good, the material is not soft at all! I’m astounded with the amount of reviews praising how soft these sheets are. I usually purchase bamboo sheets, so it is my fault not reading the material on these, but the reviews were so good! I honestly find it kind of hard to sleep on these because the material is so rough.

I don’t think I’ll be repurchasing unless Hommey comes out with a bamboo line—which again is my preference (and fault) for not looking at the material. You can tell that they have put a lot of care into their patterns, color ways, and detailing. I’m just sad their sheets aren’t softer for me!
